37 Jeffreys St

The original house on this site was first numbered as 14 Jeffreys St.
Phil Kemp at 20 said the bomb that caused the demolition of the original no 37 probably hit in 1944/45, as it was a V-1 or V-2 flying bomb.  Joan at No 9 also said the bomb landed in the gardens of the houses on Royal College Street but damaged the first houses on Jeffreys St.
